Shannon, also known as Ashen, has been training dogs, cats, and other types of animals since she was very young. Her passion for service animals stemmed when she unfortunately had a mini stroke, and got diagnosed with Dysautonomia. After struggling to find a service dog program that would accept her, she decided to learn to train service animals herself. After seeing how much her service dog, Henry, was able to help her, she knew her purpose was to provide service dogs to others in need, just like her. Shannon specializes in training and showing Standard Poodles, and is a Poodle Evaluator Graduate through the AKC Canine College. Shannon is working on getting certified through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers CCPDT-KA, as well as becoming a Certified CGC and Trick Dog Instructor through AKC.
